Unitarian Universalism can perhaps be called the "religion of yes/and." It is a living tradition that adapts to its context. Affirms what others do. Then invites continued creation. We're invited to keep building on that which has come before. All in a sometimes messy but more often beautiful and multi-culturally significant package.
Jazz is the artistic embodiment of that relational process. Plus, it's really cool, beautiful, and connects us with an important cultural aspect of the CSRA!
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta has long been a home for chamber jazz. It's a significant aspect of many members' deeply meaningful and spiritual experiences with the congregation.
And as we continue to create Beloved Community together, The Jazz Series at UUCA has become integral to our mission.
